If you've gotten your hands on some of these cards and want to invite the new characters to your island, here's a rundown on how to use Amiibo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. There are 48 cards in total in the Series 5 set, including a handful of brand-new villagers who were introduced to the game as part of the 2.0 update. Thanks to the NFC reader in the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con and Pro Controller, these cards can be scanned in the game to invite new villagers to live on your island, set up photoshoots with your favorite characters, and more. He/she is moving, use the guide above to get them out sooner.Animal Crossing: New Horizons' big 2.0 update is here, and it arrives alongside a fifth series of Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. If they say that they'll stay, reset, rinse, and repeat until they don't say that.ĩ. Yay, the unwanted villager (or any of them if you had didn't talk to multiple villagers twice) is asking to move.Ĩ. Delete the new character if you want to.ħ. (Tex, Canberra, Annalise, and Lucy, soon to be Carmen)ĥ. Talk to the villagers YOU WANT TO KEEP again. When you talk to the villagers, INTRODUCE yourself to the unwanted villager(s) but DON'T TALK TO THEM AGAIN. Select the house location, talk to Isabelle, so on and so forth.ģ. (I named mine 12345 because he's not staying in my town)Ģ. This is how new characters become your saving grace when you have unwanted villagers in your town.ġ. what if you talked to them? You think you messed up. Ignoring a villager has to be the most effective way in the game to get unwanted villagers out, but. Now, many people want to know how to get unwanted villagers out when they AREN'T considering moving out of your town.Īnd interacting w/ them in any other way. Like "live laugh love" or "it's fall y'all" or something. I want to get a skateboard where the design is one of those mom decorations I hope you enjoyed this little guide! Remember: TIME TRAVEL AND RESET AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!īTW: Doing this got me a dreamie in the campsite! Carmen is moving to K Town! (Even though she already lives there in CF) So that's the way to get unwanted villagers that are considering moving OUT while keeping ones you want to keep IN. That way they could say they want to stay, and that's bad. Side Note 3: If you're using P2, P3, or P4 and villager hasn't mentioned moving to them yet, DO NOT TALK TO VILLAGER. Side Note 2: When you get back to the real time, villager moves! So if I did this until June 7th, and it was the 4th, when I TT back to the fourth, villager is gone. Side Note: When time traveling back to the day that it is in the present time, time traveling backwards doesn't count as moving forward through time, so you don't have to do 3 and 4 BACKWARDS too. BOOM! When you time travel to the day your villager wants to leave, Isabelle will say that they are leaving! They're GONE!!!!! Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the day villager wants to leave.Ħ. After you have done this, TT to the next day.ĥ. I found her on Main Street though, so it's okay.Ĥ. I only had four, so it was easy, besides the fact that Canberra wanted to disappear off of the face of the earth a couple times. If they are being a pain in the neck and you don't want them, (six villagers in my town e-e), don't waste your time talking to them. If she says "Oh, maybe I want to stay" then reset, again at your own risk, rinse, and repeat, until Soleil doesn't say she wants to stay.ģ. So she says she wants to leave on June 7th. Lets say Soleil comes up to me on June 3rd, and she says " I've been considering moving out." THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME. If he/she is NOT asking to move, use one of the methods that people use to get them out if they are not considering it.Ģ. The villager you want to leave MUST be asking to move out. If you still are afraid, the effects aren't as strong if you do it with the 3DS time instead of the game time (When Isabelle asks you to set it), so that's an option too. You'll find weeds in your town, and if you aren't careful. This method requires TIME TRAVELING, and some of you think that's a big no-no, so I recommend not to use this if you are one of those people, and you'll have to wait it out. I came up with a strategy to get that unwanted villager that's turned over a new leaf to move out, and to ensure the villagers you want to keep don't leave, either! I mean, she's already said she wants to move, but I want her out. So, currently, I'm playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf, trying to get Soleil to move out sooner.
