Justin Timberlake’s vocal coach was the one who recommended that Lance Bass join the group. Lance Bass was the last one to join the group. Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick worked together in the past. They were known for being members of the Mickey Mouse Club. Chris Kirkpatrick found Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez through a talent agent. Lou Pearlman promised he would help Chris Kirkpatrick out financially if he could get some guys together to form a group. Chris Kirkpatrick met manager Lou Pearlman through a friend. NSYNC got together because they were one of the “manufactured” pop groups that came out in the 90s. Some of their hits include “Bye Bye Bye,” “I Want You Back,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” “Pop,” “Girlfriend,” “This I Promise You,” “God Must Have Spent A Little More Time on You,” “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” as well as other hit songs. They have two albums that have gone diamond ( No Strings Attached and Celebrity). The album sold over one million copies in one day and over two million in one week. They were in the Guinness Book of Records for having the fastest selling pop album in history for No Strings Attached. ![]() ![]() The group has won numerous awards during the height of their fame. They are one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. They got their name by using letters from their own names to create an acronym for the group. The group consisted of members Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass.
